Project Manager

We are on the hunt for a passionate Project Manager that will own client projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be: an excellent communicator, organized and detail oriented, and someone who is able to keep the big picture in mind while immersed in the day-to-day hubbub of client communication, scope and deadline management, and liaising with team members. Experience in an agency environment is a must. Attitude-wise, being proactive and resourceful are requirements. Ability to understand and continue to absorb technical and specialized knowledge is crucial to this role.

Job Description

  • Own the project management project with designers, developers, and clients using the appropriate tools and software, including:

    • Mapping timelines and work-back schedules

    • Developing tasks and briefs for projects and support work

    • Managing scope, approvals & project change requests

    • Proactively identifying & mitigating project issues and risks

    • Project administration, including marking client billings and expenses

  • Serve as the key link between client and the internal teams to communicate and prioritize project tasks based on a variety of factors

  • Run bi-weekly project meetings with internal team

  • Communicate project progress to senior management team

  • Support sales and technical leads with requirements and statement of work documentation

  • Support production/resource planning and executing including: internal coordination, status meetings, and communication

  • Triage production issues and work with management team to identify root cause and potential solutions

  • Interact with various client IT departments/points of contact for any infrastructure or integration-related, if needed

Application Requirements:

  • 3+ years project management or producer experience specific to web/interactive production, preferably within the digital or ad agency environment

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and maintain documentation within a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated organizational abilities and attention to detail

  • Formal training in one or more of following areas; Project Management, Business, Marketing, New Media or similar

  • Web design and development knowledge is a strong asset. Ability to manage creative is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills

UX/UI Designer

With a number of large, custom websites and web applications on the go (as well as our own internal brand to keep up with), we require at least 3 years of UX/UI design experience.

The role requires a solid understanding of both UX and UI design. Creating wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows as well as conceptualizing and designing all website pages will be your day-to-day job.

  • 3 or more years of experience in a competitive, related industry

  • 3 or more years creating wireframes, prototypes, UI kits and designing websites

  • Intermediate+ experience with Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator and Photoshop

  • A strong portfolio representing your individual work (if part of a team, give credit where it’s due)

  • Understanding of front-end languages (HTML, SASS, jQuery or ES6 and build tools)

  • Solid understanding of modern web development principles such as grids, responsive design, progressive enhancement, etc.

  • Detail oriented and able to work with developers to implement mockups into functioning websites

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills

Front End Developer

Working closely with the design team and development team, your job is to bridge the gap - taking designs and breathing life into them. Using the latest technologies, facilitate the best possible interactive experience for users.  We are seeking a front end developer with a keen eye for detail who keeps their code structured, organized and maintainable. Javascript and PHP are a must.

Application Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a front-end web development role

  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS (familiar with SASS), Javascript (familiar with jQuery
    or ES6), and build tools (familiar with Gulp or Grunt)

  • Strong understanding of modern web development principles such as grids, responsive design, progressive enhancement, etc

  • Experience working with WordPress and creating custom themes

  • Detail oriented and able to work with designers to implement mockups into functioning websites, including Sketch and Adobe XD skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to self-manage projects internally and externally (contractors, clients, suppliers)

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure

  • A diploma or degree related to web development

    Experience working with a JS framework such as React, Vue, or Angular

  • Experience with app development for Android and iOS

  • Experience with backend development (databases, server architecture, PHP)
